形态描述
口略呈马蹄形。唇肥厚，上、下唇均具发达乳突；下唇中央间断。须较长。腹鳍基部起点约与背鳍起点相对。体无鳞，皮肤表面具许多细小棘突。侧线完全。鳔后室发达。
生物学
This plateau loach is found in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the Huanghe River. It inhabits the slow current of the streams and ditches, generally among waterweeds.
